A horde of extremist Jewish settlers on Tuesday evening attacked Palestinian vehicles in the north and west of Nablus city in the occupied West Bank.
Local official Ghassan Daghlas said settlers hurled stones at Palestinian cars traveling on the road between Nablus and Tulkarem particularly in the west of Deir Sharaf town.
Another group of settlers also stoned cars near an-Naqura in the northwest of Nablus. Some vehicles sustained damage in the attack according to eyewitnesses.
No information was available about injured passengers in the stone-throwing attacks.
Meanwhile dozens of settlers rallied on the same day near the junction of the Gush Etzion settlement bloc and Fureidis village in Bethlehem.
Local sources said that Israeli soldiers provided protection for the settlers who carried flags and placards.
