A huge demonstration was organized after Friday prayer in the vicinity of the Israeli embassy in Amman in support for al-Aqsa Mosque.
The protesters called for closing the Israeli embassy in response to the Israeli repeated attacks on al-Aqsa Mosque and the killing of two Jordanian nationals with cold blood at the hands of an Israeli guard at the embassy.
The angry crowd demanded ending Jordan’s peace treaty with Israel and announced their solidarity with Palestinians in general and Jerusalemites in particular for standing steadfast vis-a-vis the Israeli violations practiced against al-Aqsa Mosque.
They chanted slogans condemning the unjust Israeli measures and calling for expelling the Israeli ambassador from Amman.
