Laila Anwar al-Ghandour an eight-month-old baby girl died of tear-gas inhalation at dawn Tuesday to become the youngest victim of Gaza massacre.
Laila was the youngest fatality of the demonstrations on Monday which were held in the run up to the 70th anniversary of the Nakba.
“Let her stay with me it is too early for her to go” Laila’s mother cried as she held the girl’s body.
Laila’s death proves that the entire state of Israel is built on violations of international conventions.
The Israeli army killed more than 60 people and injured more than 2000 others during the peaceful protests in Gaza. As such Laila’s death is no more outrageous of a crime than the murder of the other 63 people. Because just like them she was killed for being Palestinian.
