Palestinian MP Fathi al-Qar’awi on Saturday held the Israeli occupation government responsible for the life of detainee Mohammed Hasan 21 who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 (coronavirus) at al-Maskoubiya detention center.
Al-Qar’awi said in a press statement that what happened to Hasan who tested positive for coronavirus a few days after he was arbitrarily abducted from his family’s house is a typical Israeli crime that is committed on a daily basis against the Palestinians in the West Bank.
Al-Qar’awi called on concerned human rights organizations to immediately act against Israeli violations and pressure the Israeli occupation authorities to release Hasan and allow him to receive the necessary treatment.
Israeli occupation forces stormed Hasan’s family house in Ramallah last Wednesday and kidnapped him over his student activism at Birzeit University.
