The Malaysian Ambassador in Egypt and Palestine Dato Ku Jaafar bin Ku Shari is expected to arrive in blockaded Gaza on Monday via the Rafah border-crossing.
Head of Gaza’s office for humanitarian work coordination at the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Mohamed Hasana said on Facebook that the office has just finalized preparations to welcome the Malaysian delegation headed by Ambassador Dato Ku Jaafar.
The visit makes part of intents to follow up on projects sponsored by the Malaysian government and to keep a close eye on the tragic humanitarian situation in the blockaded Gaza Strip.
The envoy will carry out field visits to neighborhoods housing marginalized civilians and will reach out to Palestinian universities among other institutions in the besieged coastal enclave.
