89 Jewish settlers broke into the courtyards of the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque on Sunday under Israeli police protection.
The Islamic Endowments Department in Occupied Jerusalem said that 39 settlers and 50 Talmudic students defiled the Al-Aqsa Mosque and performed Talmudic rituals.
In a separate incident the occupation police beat the young Jerusalemite Mahmoud Barakat in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem.
Local sources pointed out that Barakat was taken to the hospital for treatment after suffering from bruises on his hands and legs and wounds on his body.
