Tension was running high in Negev desert prison on Saturday after the Israeli prison guards stormed the prison’s section 24 and placed its Friday preacher in solitary confinement according to the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs on Saturday.
The prison authority charged the Friday preacher with inciting Palestinian prisoners to start a hunger strike in sermons last month.

The number of Palestinians in Israeli prisons is about 4500 prisoners including 600 with high prison sentences and 425 administrative detainees with no charge or trial.
