The Israeli military court of Ofer on Tuesdaydecided to freeze its decision to release Amal al-Tahhan the wife of prisonerTareq al-Barghouthi on bail for 24 hours.
According to the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS)the Ofer court backtracked on the release of Tahhan after the Israeliprosecutor filed an appeal against its decision.
The PPS said that the Palestinian lawyers would continue to boycott the courts ofOfer and Salem until the wife of their fellow lawyer al-Barghouthi wasreleased.
The lawyers intend to file an appeal against thedecision to freeze the release of Tahhan.
