The Palestinian health ministry on Sunday reported one new death associated with COVID-19 (coronavirus) 225 new positive tests and 66 recoveries in Palestinian areas during the last 24 hours.
According to its daily report the virus claimed the life of a 58-year-old woman from Qalandiya town.
However 33 recovered cases have been recorded in al-Khalil province 23 in Bethlehem province 4 in Jenin province and 6 in Tulkarem province.
As for the new cases 103 citizens tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours in Jerusalem province including 88 inside Jerusalem city.
Another 28 new cases have been detected and recorded in al-Khalil province 49 in Ramallah and Bireh province 2 in Tulkarem province 3 in Bethlehem province 1 in Jenin province 14 in Nablus province 20 in Jericho and the Jordan Valley province and 5 in Qalqilya province.
Seven critically ill patients have also been admitted to intensive care units and two of them have been placed on ventilators according to the report.
