Only 17 Gazans allowed to visit relatives in jail

Monday 23-December-2019

The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) at dawn Monday allowed a small group of Palestinian citizens from the Gaza Strip to visit their relatives in Nafha jail.

According to the Red Cross 17 Gazan citizens including three children were headed aboard a bus for Nafha jail in the Negev desert to visit 12 prisoners.

Every once in a while the IOA allows through the Red Cross a few members of families from Gaza to visit their relatives in jails and bans many others from seeing their relatives for unexplained security reasons or because of their affiliation with Hamas.
