Palestinian Minister of Economy Abeer Oudeh on Thursday met with her Israeli counterpart Eli Cohen in Paris.
Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported that Oudeh met with Cohen at Élysée Palace in the presence of the French president Emmanuel Macron.
According to the Hebrew newspaper both ministers discussed joint economic projects between Israel and the Palestinian Authority.
The meeting contradicts the Palestinian Authority’s recent decision to sever economic relations with Israel as well as the Palestinian Central Council’s recommendations to end security coordination with Israel.
