The Palestinian Authority (PA) preventive security forces on Saturday evening apprehended the Hamas leader Ibrahim Nawahda after storming his home in al-Yamoun town to the west of Jenin city in the northern West Bank.
The wife of captive Nawahda said that the PA security forces confiscated a toy gun of her young child at the pretext of maintaining public security.
Detainee Nawahda served 12 years of imprisonment in Israeli jails for being a member of al-Qassam Brigades the armed wing of Hamas Movement.
