As part of its security cooperation with the Israeli occupation state the Palestinian Authority (PA) intelligence apparatus has arrested an ex-detainee and persisted in detaining others illegally.
In a statement released by the Hamas Movement on Sunday the PA intelligence agency in Nablus arrested Naser Araishi an ex-detainee in PA and Israeli jails after summoning him for interrogation in the morning today.
The same security agency kidnapped last Thursday two young men called Baraa Jabara and Anas Ashtiya after they were summoned for interrogation.
In a related context a Palestinian citizen called Louay al-Ashqar started an open-ended hunger strike in protest at his detention by the PA security forces in Tulkarem and his transfer to the notorious jail of Jericho on allegations of providing financial assistance to a martyr’s family.
The PA security also extended the detention of Mamoun Shamasneh an ex-detainee after he spent about two weeks in Jericho jail.
