Palestinian Authority (PA) security forces arrested on Wednesday four Palestinian ex-detainees and summonsed a fifth for questioning. Scores of others are still illegally detained in the PA jails.
The PA preventive security forces along with the intelligence apparatus arrested four men from Salfit governorate in the northern West Bank after storming their homes and beating some of them before their families.
The intelligence forces summonsed a fifth ex-prisoner who is a former political captive in the PA jails for interrogation.
The same apparatus continued the detention of two university students for the fifth consecutive day and another ex-detainee for the fourth day in a row without any charge or trial.
