PA security forces kidnap two ex-detainees in W. Bank raids

As part of their security cooperation with the Israeli occupation state the Palestinian Authority (PA) security forces kidnaped at dawn Thursday two Palestinian ex-detainees in the West Bank and assaulted one of them in Nablus.

According to local sources PA security soldiers kidnaped Suhaib Abu Thabet after beating him in front of his family when he asked them about the reason for his arrest.

His brother said that PA soldiers prevented Abu Thabet from wearing his shoes confiscated his cellphone and damaged his little daughter’s bed.

He pointed out that his brother had been released about one month ago after spending over 10 months of administrative detention in Israeli jails.

Abu Thabet a schoolteacher had been jailed four times by the Israeli occupation authority and spent a total of five years in its prisons.

PA security forces also kidnaped another ex-detainee called Mohamed Jawwad from his home in Burqin town in Jenin.

Meanwhile Israeli forces stormed the house of ex-detainee Islam Bani Shamsa in Beita town in Nablus and handed him a summons for interrogation from the Shin Bet.

Bani Shamsa expressed his belief that the Shin Bet summoned him to question him about the reasons for his recent detention for 96 days by the PA intelligence apparatus in the notorious jail of Jericho.

The PA intelligence and preventive security apparatuses recently launched a frenzied arrest campaign against Palestinian citizens across the West Bank kidnaping dozens of university students ex-detainees and national figures from their homes workplaces and streets.
