The Palestinian Authority (PA) security forces on Tuesday morning kidnapped a Palestinian citizen from outside a Mosque in Askar refugee camp east of Nablus city.
A family source told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that Ahmed Saqer an ex-detainee in Israeli jails was rounded up by soldiers from the PA preventive security agency after he left a Mosque following the dawn prayers.
The source added that the soldiers opened fire at Saqer as he was leaving the Mosque before subduing him.
Several hours before his arrest Saqer appealed through al-Quds news network to the mayor of Nablus and the Palestinian factions to intervene to stop the PA security forces from arresting him.
He said that security forces were trying to raid his home in Askar camp to arrest him.
