The family of martyr Omar al-Nayef who was assassinated last year inside the Embassy of Palestine in Bulgaria renewed on Saturday its condemnation of the final report issued on the assassination circumstances. The family opined that the report acquitted many parties of the crime.
A march was organized on Saturday by the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) in Jenin city on the first anniversary of his martyrdom.
The family said during the march that criminals must be held to account.
Many leaders of the PFLP along with ex-detainees and national figures participated in the demonstration which kicked off on Saturday afternoon from Nayef’s home in al-Marah neighborhood in Jenin and roamed the streets of the city.
Participants chanted slogans against the assassination crime and those who involved in it. They also called for avenging martyr Nayef.
