The Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) has said that the health suffering of Palestinian prisoner Tareq al-Rajabi from al-Khalil city has increased following his recent detention.
According to PPS prisoner Rajabi has suffered recently from severe problems in his pituitary gland but his need for regular and proper medical care was interrupted when the Israeli occupation forces detained him six days ago.
Despite his difficult health condition Israeli jailers persisted in detaining him in the transit section of the Ofer jail where COVID-19 cases appeared among detainees lately PPS pointed out.
PPS has called for necessarily and urgently releasing Rajabi and all prisoners with chronic and serious health problems especially after some prisoners tested positive for coronavirus inside Israeli jails.
