Palestinian bleeds to death another wounded by IOF in Ramallah

Wednesday 25-January-2017

A Palestinian youth was shot and killed Wednesday evening and another was critically injured in the head in two separate attacks by the Israeli occupation army in Ramallah province in the central West Bank.

According to Hebrew-speaking sources the Israeli soldiers opened fire at a Palestinian youth after he attempted to ram his track into soldiers deployed near the illegal Israeli settlement of Adam built on Palestinian lands in Ramallah’s eastern village of Jaba’.

Speaking with PIC eye-witnesses said the casualty was left bleeding on the ground without assistance until he breathed his last right on the spot.

No injuries were meanwhile reported among the Israeli soldiers.

The Palestinian Health Ministry identified the casualty as 24-year-old Hussein Salem Abu Ghush a native of Jerusalem’s refugee camp of Qalandiya.

Pictures circulated on Hebrew-speaking news sites showed the vehicle as being parked a few meters away from the alleged car-ramming attack scene which proves that the incident was an ordinary traffic accident and that the Palestinian driver had no intention of attacking the Israeli soldiers.

The murder occurred a couple of hours before another Palestinian youth was shot and injured in the head by the occupation soldiers as he was driving near Ramallah’s northwestern village of Aboud.

The Israeli army claimed the youngster opened fire at an Israeli military watchtower near Aboud’s bypass road.

The Israeli army spokesman said a firearm of the Carlo brand was spotted in the driver’s car.

The Hebrew-speaking 0404 news site said the youth has been in a critical condition. However no injuries were recorded among the Israelis.

The injured driver was evacuated to the Tel Hashomer hospital for urgent treatment.

Israeli military troops were summoned for reinforcement and cordoned off the scene before they carried out large-scale combing operations.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said it has been keeping tabs on the health status of the injured driver.
