Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Wednesday morning opened fire at a Palestinian girl seriously injuring her near the Ibrahimi Mosque in al-Khalil.
Eyewitnesses said that the IOF soldiers stationed at a checkpoint near the Ibrahimi Mosque shot a Palestinian girl over alleged knife possession.
Israeli media sources claimed that the girl was shot after she attempted to stab an Israeli soldier.
The girl whose identity has not been known yet is in critical condition and no injuries were reported among the IOF soldiers.
