Violent clashes broke out after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) blocked on Monday morning the entrances of Jaba and Ajjah in southern Jenin and set up makeshift checkpoints on nearby roads.
According to local sources a Palestinian teenager suffered a shrapnel injury to the head during clashes with the IOF in Zababdeh town south of Jenin. He was rushed to Jenin Hospital for medical assistance.
IOF intensified its presence last night and at dawn Monday near several villages and towns in Jenin.
