Palestinian killed dozens injured in West Bank protests

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Friday killed a Palestinian citizen and wounded dozens others during confrontations and protests over the “deal of the century” in different areas in the West Bank.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that a Palestinian youth identified as Bader Nafleh 19 died after he was shot in the neck by an IOF soldier.

Meanwhile dozens of Palestinians were injured by IOF live ammunition rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas canisters during clashes in al-Khalil Qalqilya Jericho Ramallah and Nablus.

Angry Palestinians took to the streets on Friday afternoon in the West Bank to voice their rejection of the recently announced “peace plan” which is known as the “deal of the century” by the US president Donald Trump.

The protesters waved Palestine flags chanted slogans condemning the “deal of the century” and the Israeli occupation and clashed with IOF soldiers.

Palestinian killed dozens injured in West Bank protests

A Palestinian was killed and dozens others injured on Friday when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) violently quelled West Bank demonstrations.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that Mahmoud Yousef Nakhla 15 died after being shot in the abdomen by the IOF during clashes in Jalazone refugee camp in Ramallah.

The PIC reporter said that two Palestinians suffered rubber-coated metal bullet wounds while dozens choked on teargas during the IOF quelling of an anti-settlement demonstration in al-Mughayyir village east of Ramallah.

At least three Palestinians were injured by rubber-coated metal bullets during violent clashes after the IOF attacked peaceful demonstrations in different areas in Nablus.

The PIC reporter said that a number of Palestinians were injured after Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian vehicles near Za’tara checkpoint south of Nablus.

In a related context the Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that earlier on Friday the IOF opened fire at an ambulance near Beitin checkpoint north of al-Bireh city without causing injuries.

Meanwhile in Bil’in the IOF quelled a mass demonstration that was launched following Friday prayer against Israel’s settlement construction.

Local sources said that the IOF heavily fired teargas canisters and stun grenades at the peaceful demonstrators.
