A 23-year-old Palestinian man Emair Shehada of Orif town east of Nablus died of his wounds and a Palestinian child was also seriously injured after being shot by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) soldiers who escorted settlers during their incursion into the town on Saturday.
Eyewitnesses of the town told the PIC reporter that several IOF patrols raided the town amid heavy shooting of tear gas grenades resulting in breathing problems among dozens of the inhabitants. Clashes then erupted with IOF soldiers with no arrests reported.
In Qalqilya IOF soldiers closed the northern entrance to Azzoun town with a metal gate after an Israeli settler was injured as his car was thrown with stones. The IOF troopers also blocked the entrance to Ezbet al-Tabib hamlet near the city.
