Palestinian mother son slain by Israeli army buried in same tomb

Thursday 27-April-2017

Hundreds of Palestinians marched on Wednesday evening in the funeral procession of a slain Palestinian woman in Shu’fat refugee camp in Occupied Jerusalem.

Palestinian mourners joined the funeral procession of 49-year-old Seham Rateb Namer killed by the Israeli occupation army.

The Palestinian Red Crescent received Namer’s body from Anata military camp northeast of Occupied Jerusalem and transferred it to Shu’fat refugee camp.

Only a few family members and friends of her own could bid her last farewell as the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stipulated that she be buried immediately in Anata cemetery and in the presence of no more than 50 persons. The Israeli forces also ruled that the family shell out 20000 shekels as a warranty.

The casualty was buried near her son Mustafa killed by the Israeli soldiers some seven months ago on claims that he attempted to carry out an anti-occupation car-ramming attack in Occupied Jerusalem. Eyewitnesses denied the allegation and the IOF ended up admitting that the son was killed accidentally and that he posed no threat to them.
