The Supreme National Emergency Committee of the National Captive Movement on Monday condemned Itamar Ben-Gvir’s statements against Palestinian prisoners warning that Palestinians will have a strong response as Israel further violates the prisoners’ rights.
“We will not stand idle by while Israel is violating the prisoners’ rights” the Committee stressed adding that the repercussions of the Israeli attacks will go beyond Palestine.
The Committee affirmed that the Palestinian prisoners are ready to fight in a decisive battle that goes beyond the Israeli jails calling on the Palestinian factions to shoulder their responsibility and defend the rights of the prisoners until they attain their freedom.
Earlier today Itamar Ben-Gvir head of Israel’s Otzma Yehudit party threatened to impose more restrictions on Palestinian prisoners in the event he was appointed as minister of internal security in the upcoming Israeli coalition government.
