Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs said on Friday that a big number of Palestinian prisoners have tested positive for COVID-19 in the Israeli Negev desert prison.
The commission underlined that the claims of the prison administration that the prisoners have tested positive for a different virus other than COVID-19 aim to provide a cover to not protecting Palestinian prisoners from the pandemic.
600 Palestinian prisoners including 31 women 172 children and 682 administrative detainees are held in Israeli prisons according to the commission.
