Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails on Saturday announced their intention to escalate their open hunger strike against the Palestinian Authority (PA) decision to halt monthly salaries paid to the families of Gaza prisoners.
The prisoners said in a statement that their protests will continue until their rights are restored.
They called on all national movements to support them and pressure the PA government to backtrack on its decision.
They also praised the demonstrations organized by the Movement to Lift Sanctions on Gaza and asked the Palestinian people to take part in the protests and support their just cause.
