A Palestinian youth was wounded by live ammunition fired by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in the village of Nabi Saleh northwest of Ramallah on Sunday.
Local sources reported that confrontations broke out in the village and a young man was shot in his head with a live bullet. His health condition was described as serious.
IOF and settlers carry out daily incursions into Al-Nabi Saleh village and clash with the residents.
The Halamish settlement was established on the lands of Nabi Saleh and part of the lands of Deir Nidham and in the middle of the villages of Deir Nidham Kobar Beit Al-Low Al-Nabi Saleh Umm Safa and Kafr Ein.
Halamish settlement was built in 1997 over an estimated area of three thousand dunums. It was built by religious and extremist settler groups.
