A Palestinian young man was seriously injured after Israeli occupation forces (IOF) raided a number of West Bank cities and towns on Thursday evening and opened fire at young men.
In Ramallah clashes erupted between Palestinian young men and IOF soldiers in Deir Jarir village.
The clashes broke out when the soldiers opened fire at youths celebrating the snow fall.
A young man was shot and seriously injured in his back. He was later moved to hospital for urgent surgery.
In Nablus clashes erupted near Al-Tur gate amid heavy IOF firing of rubber bullets and teargas bombs.
Several locals suffered breathing problems during the confrontations due to the IOF intensive firing of teargas canisters.
Similar clashes broke out in Al-Isawiya town in Occupied Jerusalem.
At least two youths were detained during the clashes while several others suffered breathing difficulties due to inhaling tear gas fired by Israeli forces.
Earlier Wednesday the Israeli occupation police kidnapped at least 17 Jerusalemite young men after they celebrated the snowfall and placed a Palestinian flag in Bab al-Amud area in the holy city.
On the other hand Israeli sources claimed that Israeli soldiers stationed between the settlements of Elon Moreh and Itamar illegally built east of Nablus were subjected to a shooting attack.
No injuries were reported during the alleged attack; however Israeli forces were deployed in large numbers in the area.
