The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at a Palestinian citizen at Za’tara checkpoint in Nablus for allegedly trying to carry out a stabbing attack on Sunday evening.
A spokesman for the Israeli army claimed that “a Palestinian carrying a knife was arrested Sunday after approaching an Israeli soldier at Tapuah Junction (Za’tara checkpoint) in the northern West Bank while the soldier was on routine security duty.”
No injuries were reported during the alleged attack while no information was released about the Palestinian injured man’s health situation.
