The Israeli occupation forces on Monday aggressively attacked Palestinians maintaining vigil outside al-Aqsa Mosque to protest the newly-installed metal detectors.
Reporting from the scene a PIC news correspondent said the Israeli troops forced the sit-inners out of Jerusalem walls after they refused to enter al-Aqsa Mosque—Muslims’ third holiest site—via the metal detectors recently installed by the Israeli forces.
The occupation forces came down heavily on the sit-inners and subjected them to heavy beating in an attempt to disband the vigil and force worshipers to enter al-Aqsa Mosque through the metal detectors.
