A Palestinian young man from the West Bank City of Jenin was injured on Friday afternoon after he was shot by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) near Barta’a checkpoint.
Local sources told the PIC reporter that Ahmad Kmeil 25 was shot in the leg near one of the separation wall’s gates while trying to enter the 1948 occupied Palestinian territories.
Kmeil was transferred by a Red Crescent ambulance to a local hospital in Jenin.
Over the past few days IOF soldiers have shot four Palestinians citizens near the separation wall. Most of them were attacked while heading to their workplaces in the Palestinian territories occupied since 1948.
