A Palestinian young man was shot and killed near the West Bank city of Jenin on Monday morning as clashes erupted during an Israeli military raid into the city.
The Palestinian Health Ministry affirmed in a brief statement that a Palestinian died of critical wounds he sustained by Israeli gunfire in Jenin.
Earlier on Monday the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched a pre-dawn raid campaign in Jenin which led to the outbreak of violent clashes.
Local sources reported that dozens of army vehicles stormed the Al-Hadaf neighborhood while reconnaissance planes were detected flying over the area.
The IOF troops surrounded a local house and arrested an ex-prisoner in Jenin refugee camp despite his injury.
Two other youths were injured during the raid.
