A Palestinian young man was shot dead by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) during confrontations in Beita village in southern Nablus on Friday evening.
The Palestinian ministry of health said that Mohammed Ali Khabisa from Beita village was hit by an IOF live bullet in the head and reached Najah hospital in Nablus city in critical condition where he was later in the evening pronounced dead.
Violent confrontations erupted near Mount Sobeih between the IOF soldiers and the Palestinian citizens. The Palestinian Red Crescent reported 8 injuries with rubber-coated metal bullets while 18 were treated for suffocation of the teargas.
IOF violently quelled the peaceful march that followed the Friday prayer near Mount Sobeih firing rubber-coated bullets and gas bombs at the participants.
