Dozens of Palestinian citizens marched on Tuesday in al-Khalil to protest the death of the Palestinian detainee Bassam al-Sayeh in Israeli jails due to deliberate medical neglect.
The demonstrators raised Palestine flags portraits of al-Sayeh and banners condemning the Israeli crimes against the Palestinian prisoners and calling for providing international protection to them.
They also denounced the systematic medical negligence pursued against the Palestinian political detainees by the Israel Prison Service which has killed dozens of them the latest of whom was Bassam al-Sayeh who was suffering from bone and blood cancer and was denied proper medical care.
