The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last night made a count of the Palestinian residents in the Bedouin community of Lasifir in Masafer Yatta south of al-Khalil.
Local official Fuaad al-Amour said that Israeli forces counted the residents of Lasifir area which lies outside the separation wall without providing a reason for such step.
However local residents voiced concern that such step could be a prelude to demolishing their homes and forcing them to leave the area.
