Dozens were injured including a child on Friday afternoon when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) quelled the weekly anti-settlement demonstration in Kafr Qaddum village in Qalqilya.
Popular resistance coordinator Murad Shtewi said that the IOF soldiers heavily fired rubber-coated metal bullets at the protesters injuring nine of them including an eight-year-old boy and a Norwegian activist.
Meanwhile in Bil’in village in Ramallah dozens of Palestinians marching against Israel’s settlement construction activity and the Deal of the Century chocked on teargas after the IOF attacked them with sound bombs and teargas canisters.
The marchers raised Palestinian flags sang national songs and chanted slogans calling for achieving national unity and resisting the occupation.
The IOF violently quelled another demonstration organized in Ni’lin village against the settlement and in commemoration of the 49th anniversary of the arson attack on al-Aqsa Mosque.
