Palestinians injured in renewed clashes with IOF in Beita town

Sunday 27-June-2021

A number of Palestinian young men were injured during renewed clashes with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) near Mount Sobeih in Beita town south of Nablus.

During the events Red Crescent ambulances crews provided on-site medical assistance for many young men who suffered from their exposure to tear gas and others after they fell to the ground.

For several weeks local youths from Beita town and other areas of Nablus started to organize nightly protest events as a form of popular resistance against the Israeli occupation and its settlers who set up an outpost on Mount Sobeih.

During their rallies the young men torch tires use loudspeakers to play religious slogans national songs and sirens and flash laser beams and flashlights at the settlers on the mount.

Organizers say the night rallies are aimed at creating confusion among the settlers and forcing them to leave the area.
