Dozens of Palestinians on Tuesday evening gathered outside the U.S. embassy in Tel Aviv to protest US President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
Waving Palestinian flags the protesters also held signs that read: “We will not give Jerusalem to the occupier” and “The future of Jerusalem will not be determined by an American cowboy.” Some held posters depicting Trump as a snake.
The demonstration was organized by the Arab Higher Monitoring Committee and was attended by several Arab lawmakers and activists in 1948 Occupied Palestine.
Recently Trump has dragged the world into a state of unrest and widespread protests after he recognized in a Wednesday speech from the White House Occupied Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and pledged to push ahead with measures to relocate the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
