Palestinians of al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya village south of Nablus city on Friday removed caravans erected by Israeli settlers two days ago on the village’s lands.
Eyewitnesses told the PIC reporter that dozens of Palestinian youths in the afternoon went to Jabal al-Ras area and demolished tents set up by settlers apparently in preparation for the establishment of a new settlement outpost in the village.
The witnesses said that clashes broke out between the youths and the settlers adding that the Israeli occupation forces later arrived in the place to protect the settlers attacked the Palestinian youths with tear gas canisters and declared the area a closed military zone.
