The Union of Jerusalem School Students’ Parents strongly condemned on Thursday Israeli attempts to Judaize school curricula in Occupied Jerusalem.
The Parents’ Union said it firmly rejects attempts to turn the Palestinian intellectual and education identity in Occupied Jerusalem into a bargaining chip using financial backing.
The union stressed the need to make serious steps in response to Israel’s decision to Judaize Jerusalem schools.
Students’ Parents also warned of the hazardous upshots of the Israelization of academic curricula on Palestinians’ intellectual output and national identity.
“Such a decision is a proof of the oppressive and racist policies pursued by the Israeli government” the statement read.
“You may control our walls but never ever our children’s minds” the union concluded.
