Israeli undercover agents disguised as Palestinians kidnaped three Jerusalemite young men from at-Tur neighborhood on Mount Zeitoun near the Old City on Saturday evening.
According to local sources plain-clothes officers rounded up three young men who are at-Tur residents during their presence near al-Makassed Hospital in the neighborhood.
The officers suddenly attacked the young men in the street outside the hospital pointing guns at them and passersby subdued them and threatened to use armed force against them if they resisted their detention.
The young men were identified as Rami Salahuddin 21 Louay al-Kaswani 22 and Abdullah al-Hadra 25.
Soon later police forces stormed at-Tur neighborhood and fired stun grenades at local residents to secure the officers’ withdrawal.
Meanwhile violent clashes broke out between police forces and local youths in Ein al-Luza neighborhood in Silwan district south of the Aqsa Mosque.
Local sources said that the forces randomly fired rubber bullets and stun and tear gas grenades during the skirmishes with local youths.
In a separate incident Israeli forces stormed Aida refugee camp in northern Bethlehem on the same day and kidnaped three children from the Lajee Center’s playground.
The kids were identified as Amran Baraq’ah Ahmed Baraq’ah and Abdullah Abu Sorour.
