The Palestinian Prisoner Center for Studies has appealed to international health organizations to send medical committees to Israeli prisons to visit the Palestinian prisoners with medical problems affirming they suffer from medical neglect.
A press release issued by the center said that prisoner Alaa al-Hims from Yibna refugee camp in southern Gaza suffers from serious chronic health problems.
According to spokesman for the center Riyadh al-Ashqar prisoner Hims had not been suffering from any health issue before his arrest but he started to have several health problems during 10 years of detention and medical neglect.
Prisoner Hims suffers from multiple health problems most notably tuberculosis in the lungs and kidneys stomach ulcers eye disorders and lymphoid hyperplasia.
He is now in the infirmary of the Ramla jail where he is only provided only with palliatives.
