The Palestinian Commission of Detainees’ and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs said that cancer-stricken prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid is still in serious health condition and needs appropriate medical care in a civilian hospital.
According to the Commission prisoner Abu Hamid still uses a wheelchair to move around and an oxygen cylinder for breathing and needs permanent assistance to meet his daily needs.
The Commission said it intends in cooperation with other prisoner institutions and national factions to launch on Sunday a social media campaign to highlight the suffering of Palestinian patients in Israeli jails and demand international action to save their lives.
