Palestinian prisoners in Negev jail threatened to step up protest moves if the Israeli occupation authorities do not release the Palestinian woman Khawla Zitawi aged 40.
Sixty prisoners in Negev jail threatened to go on a hunger strike in case Zitawi is kept in Israeli prisons.
The Palestine Prisoners Center for Studies said an Israeli court extended on Monday Zitawi’s remand pending further investigation.
Zitawi was arrested on Sunday as she headed for the Negev prison to visit her son who is serving a seven-year sentence.
