Prisoners warn against harming Taweel

Palestinian prisoners in the Israeli prisons warned on Tuesday against harming the prisoner Sheikh Jamal Al-Taweel who has been on hunger strike for 27 days according to the Prisoners Information Office.

The Office pointed out that the Palestinian prisoners in the Israeli prisons decided to return their daily meals on Tuesday and Wednesday in support of the hunger strikers.

The prisoners held the Israeli occupation authorities fully responsible for the deterioration of Taweel’s health condition.

The prisoner Taweel continues his hunger strike for the 27th consecutive day while prisoner Ghadanfar Abu Atwan has been on hunger strike for 56 days.

Um Abdullah Taweel’s wife confirmed that her husband will continue his hunger strike until achieving his demands namely ending his and his daughter Bushra’s administrative detention without trial or charge.

She pointed out that her husband lost about 15 kilograms in weight. He also suffers from headaches and severe dizziness.

Um Abdullah added that her daughter Bushra has a court hearing on 01/07/2021.
