Al-Qassam Brigades the armed wing of Hamas has affirmed that the Palestinian resistance will not give up the strategy of capturing Israeli soldiers and striking swap deals to liberate Palestinian prisoners.
In a press release on Monday al-Qassam Brigades hailed a group of six prisoners who broke out of an Israeli jail describing their jailbreak as “heroic.”
“They wrested their freedom with their fingernails … and crossed the walls of injustice and aggression” the Brigades said.
“The sacred duty of every one of our people is to protect such resistance and freedom fighters be a solid shield for them and prevent the occupation from reaching them” the Brigades underlined.
In an embarrassing security breach six Palestinian prisoners managed after midnight Monday to tunnel out of their cell and escape from a high-security detention facility in the biggest prison break of its kind in the history of the Israeli occupation state.
