The Qatari Committee for the Reconstruction of the Gaza Strip on Saturday started to disburse cash aid to thousands of needy families in the besieged Gaza Strip.
Official sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that 44000 poor Gazan families who had benefited from previous Qatari financial aid would receive today $100 each through post offices.
Another new 50000 families will be paid similarly during the current week which will bring the number of beneficiaries to 94000 families.
A crew of employees from the Qatari Committee will supervise the disbursement of the financial assistance in all Gaza post offices which will be open from the morning to the evening.
