Senior Islamic Jihad official Walid Qatati has affirmed that ending the sanctions on the Gaza Strip by the Palestinian Authority is the natural gateway to implementing the national reconciliation on the ground.
“These sanctions are not acceptable at the national moral and humanitarian levels and cannot be a way to end Palestinian differences” Qatati told Palestine Today website.
He asserted that it would be impossible to achieve any part of the national reconciliation without ending the sanctions that affect the Palestinian people’s steadfastness in the face of the Israeli occupation state.
