The Palestinian Meteorological Department said that weather on Friday is anticipated to be cold and cloudy accompanied by a significant drop in temperature.
Heavy rains are expected to fall on different areas and they might be accompanied by thunderstorms and sometimes showers of hailstones it said adding that winds are westerly to southwesterly and active with strong gusts from time to time. Sea waves are medium to high.
The Meteorological Department warned of the torrents and floods caused in valleys and low areas the strong winds which might reach 70 km per hour the danger of slipping on the roads and low horizontal visibility.
Weather on Saturday is expected to be partially cloudy with a rise in temperature to become around the annual average and a low chance of scattered rain showers on different areas in the morning. Winds are southwesterly to southeasterly and light to moderate with a slight rise in sea waves.
Weather on Sunday is expected to be partially cloudy accompanied by a rise in temperature to become two degrees Celsius higher than the general annual average. Winds are northeasterly to southeasterly and light to moderate with a slight rise in sea waves.
